Bytro Labs releases multiplayer iPhone game PanzerWars

Game developer Bytro Labs, best known for its browser-based strategy hit Supremacy 1914, has conquered the next frontier and has released its first game for Apple’s iPhone. PanzerWars redefines the experience of mobile gaming by combining real-time multiplayer online elements and free-to-play casual mobile gaming.

PanzerWars is a unique approach to mobile gaming. It is the first true real-time multiplayer game on iOS. The objective is to conquer Europe by commanding tanks and troops, fortifying your provinces, and building factories. However, players have to be alert and carefully consider every move, because their opponents are real people who could strike at any time.

Within its first three days, PanzerWars is featured as the number 1 strategy game as well as the number 1 board game in the German AppStore. “We are using our browser game know how to shake up the mobile game genre.” says Felix Faber, managing director of Bytro Labs. “And the first download numbers are proving that mobile players are responding and open to the idea of multiplayer online games on the iPhone.”
