After browsing through the internet and doing a web search, we found no substantial reviews for the just-in-store mmorpg game World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Even IGN.com and Guardian.co.uk just made a bridge-page and solicit player’s reviews. After all, not all editors have  the full knowledge of WOW with an enciclopedia of contents in a very short time.

Here comes forward with an idea for me. How about making an aggregated review souces of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm? So I have this article published to give players a better understanding of the 3rd expasion Cataclysm with our collected positive and negative reviews althrough no very negative reviews so far. (xd….)

Below are the Cataclysm review sources:

World of Warcraft is one of the most successful gaming franchises of all time. Six years after its release, the game continues to go from strength to strength, evidenced by the fact that it increased its player base to an all-time high of 12,000,000 subscribers this year! An amazing feat for sure, but to those who play the game, there’s no mystery as to why it’s so successful. World of Warcraft is a mind-bogglingly huge fantasy world theme park that offers players an incredible number of things to do, and continues to keep things fresh by adding regular new content updates every few months. As well as regular content updates, every year or two, an expansion pack is released, and the third of those recently appeared in the form of Cataclysm.

The latest title from Blizzard Entertainment was on the market on 7 December 2010. Thus far, The new add-on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has not yet rated below 90 percent. Many reviews are still in the works, the extensive role-playing game takes longer to test than, say, a first-person shooter.

In Cataclysm there are two new playable races to choose from, goblins and Wrogen: In World of Warcraft. For this, the outbreak of the dragon Deathwing has led to a disaster and destroyed the world of Azeroth in part.

3, Gamereactor.eu: 9 / 10

World of Warcraft was fantastic when it was released, doing away with the old conventions of the MMO-genre and creating something new. Since then, Blizzard have built upon and refined that design, and these days I enjoy it as much as any high qualitative singleplayer roleplaying game. No longer are the quests a simple routine that you have to suffer through to get to play with the cool kids at max level. The story is interesting, the characters well-written and there’s a lot of variety to be found throughout the game.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is excellent but it still delivers the same kind of content we have played over and over again. Players should not, do not expect revolutionary ways to play the game, and Blizzard knows well if it is right to re-tweet this expansion and they managed to deliver a huge amount of well designed content which Will keep any kind of players in the busy months.

5, Gamers.at: 90 percent (test the beta version)

The earth shook furiously, huge tidal waves buried the country among themselves, fires were burning down entire forests and terrible storms devastated an already troubled world! The Cataclysm is on black wings of death! We have tested the beta and tell you what to expect.

Nevertheless, the story is epic, and WoW players do not come around drum. However, if you previously could do nothing with the MMO, you will get nowhere this time.

World of Warcraft is like a fine wine – it is getting better with age!

While long-waited players have a chance to wipe tears from their eyes when their flying mount floats for the first time Stormwind or Orgrimmar, others fight the same in the new areas, instances, or battlegrounds. The two new starting areas (for goblins and Worgen) are probably the best new contents out there in terms of the setting, the background story and the varied quests.

The extensive high-level content will please all the players who have already defeated the Lich King umpteen times . True fans play the expansion anyway, but even beginners and returners are able to access good things about refurbished WoW.

7, GameStar.de review for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

Now the wait is over, Cataclysm is ready. After four months of beta, we take stock. Blizzard has completely revamped the old Azeroth. The original WoW, the orphaned Level-1-to-60 area.

For years, the WoW has undergone a fundamental revision of the old areas and quests. Here we go: About 3,500 new quests have been added, and many new landscape has been revamped! This will encourage many dropouts to re-activate their accounts.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is a solid expansion, but probably not as significant as was the Wrath of The Lich King. The new zones, quests and instances have proved particularly successful and no shortage of epic. But the bursting of content across Azeroth does not give it the emotional impact of landing in Northrend. Moreover, this add-on has an annoying tendency to make something new from something old: although the additions and improvements enrich and balance the game better than ever, they show an extremely measured risk taking. Cataclysm is, despite all its qualities, an upheaval upheaval more than a form of substance.

Blizzard has injected a dose of new blood in its flagship MMO with Cataclysm that brings a lot of visual changes: Blizzard has upgraded its 3D engine, reworking the water and lava, adding sunlight and a dynamic mode with experimental DirectX11 performance.

We regret that only one new job is available, it may well become an archaeologist who may seek new relics. The distribution of regions is also very strict, and the Trolls are echoes of the island while the gnomes will reclaim Gnomeregan, their capital.

World of Warcraft has passed the milestone of six years. Blizzard has found the method to revitalize the World of Warcraft (although I am not sure it has shown signs of weakening at any time). The Cataclysm did not just hit every area of Azeroth but the heart of the game No aspect has been spared. Even the editor said he just saw a Tip of the iceberg.
